
It’s Crabby Joe’s game day. The Exeter Hawks face off against the Port Stanley Sailors tonight at 8pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre in Exeter.
Rourke McEwan, Defenceman for the Exeter Hawks who has been playing hockey for some time now across various leagues and teams.
McEwan is from St. Mary’s and is no stranger when it comes to the Hawks fanbase.
He says he has nothing but love for the fans that show up to games week after week.
According McEwan, the more fans that come cheer on the Hawks- the better!
Not only are the fans a big part of how the game is played, but the team chemistry needs to be unmatched.
McEwan says he has quite a few goals in mind each time he steps on the ice.
In terms of the game tonight, he has one goal in mind- to win.
The end of hockey season is quickly approaching and McEwan is looking to boost the teams standings.
McEwan is encouraging everyone to come out to the game tonight and cheer on the Hawks.
