STUFF TO DO
Tonight, the Grand Bend Legion will be hosting their weekly Meat Draw event. Starting at 5:00 pm and running until 7:00 pm, attendees can participate in the draw for a chance to win various cuts of meat. Doors will open at 1:00 pm to welcome guests, with the draw itself kicking off at 5:00 pm sharp. Hang around after the meat draw for Karaoke!
Elsewhere – it’s Family Movie Night at Hensall Heritage Hall, celebrating Family Day Weekend with free admission! Head down at 6:30 pm – choose between The Parent Trap, Little Rascals, or The Sandlot by voting online.
There’s also Live Music at the Lake Hound at 6:30 pm, or you can head to BINGO at The KIWI Motel at 6:00 pm!
Tomorrow at 10am, Science In Situ offers a free virtual STEM workshop for kids aged 4-12 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Hosted by the Huron County Library and Scientists in School, these hands-on sessions are conducted live and interactively.
Tomorrow, the local libraries are set to host a variety of engaging events for the community. At 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, families are invited to the Zurich Branch for “Family Puzzles and Games”. Attendees can drop in and partake in a range of entertaining activities, including games, puzzles, and other interactive endeavors, promising a morning of fun and bonding.
Later in the day, starting from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, the Clinton Branch will host “Escape the Library”. Participants will embark on an adventure within the library’s confines, attempting to navigate through a magical experience and ultimately escape.
Elsewhere tomorrow, Huron Ridge Greenhouses outside Bayfield is hosting Yoga Classes from 9:00am – 10:00am – cost is $15, bring your own mat.

The Ausable Camera Club is hosting a Basics and Refresher Night on February 19 at 7 PM. Whether you’re a seasoned photographer or just starting out, head to 355 Main Street South to learn essential tips and tricks to improve your photography skills.
Exeter Cadets Soup and a Bun Fundraiser at the Exeter Legion from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM – grab a delicious bowl of homemade soup. This fundraiser by the Exeter Army Cadets promises warmth and community spirit during the chilly winter day.
Free Public Skating at various locations sponsored by the Municipality of South Huron. Enjoy free skating at the South Huron Recreation Centre from 10-11:30 AM and noon-1:30 PM, as well as at Stephen Arena from 3-5 PM, courtesy of the Starlite Twin Drive-In Theatre.
Indoor Movie and Dance Party at Exeter Elementary – a screening of “Trolls Band Together,” thanks to the South Huron Optimist Club and Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron, followed by a Glow in the Dark Dance Party at the South Huron Dance Club, sponsored by Vitalpoint Church Exeter. Pizza will be available for purchase, ensuring a fun-filled evening for all ages from 4:30-6:30 PM
