At the 2024 Canadian Nuclear Association conference, Glen McNeil, the Warden of Huron County, received the Community Leadership Award from Bruce Power.
This award is given to individuals who have shown outstanding service to communities in the Grey, Bruce, and Huron Region. It honors leaders who demonstrate qualities such as collaboration, communication, and a clear vision, contributing significantly to the positive development of the region.
Expressing his appreciation, Warden Glen McNeil stated, “Huron proudly supports Bruce Power and the counties of Grey and Bruce, working together with the Clean Energy Frontier and the Nuclear Innovation Institute. I am sincerely grateful for this award and extend my thanks to all partners involved in building a greener future for our communities.”
Warden McNeil received the award alongside fellow recipients Bruce County Warden Chris Peabody and Grey County Warden Brian Milne.
