Students from Eco Exeter at South Huron District High School presented at Ausable Bayfield Conservation’s Partner Appreciation Evening, urging action to reduce plastic pollution in our waterways.
They highlighted the alarming amount of plastic waste and its detrimental effects on both human health and the environment.
The students emphasized the need for collective efforts to curb plastic use and promoted initiatives like reusable products.
They continue their advocacy through local events and educational sessions. The Eco Exeter group has been recognized for their impactful work, receiving awards and nominations for their contributions to the community.
Their presentation was well-received, underlining the importance of youth voices in conservation efforts.
