A Seaforth resident hit the jackpot at the beginning of March – securing a $100,000 win in OLG’s Encore.
Laurie Dolmage works in the food industry, and says that she often uses family members birthdays or other signifigant dates to pick her numbers
The thrilling moment unfolded when Laurie decided to check her ticket using the OLG app one early morning. “I started to do a little happy dance,” Laurie reminisced. “I was so shocked!” Waking her husband with the exciting news, Laurie’s disbelief turned into jubilation as they confirmed their win together.
With her eye on the future, Laurie plans to invest her winnings for a more secure retirement. Additionally, she aims to allocate a portion for travel, ensuring memorable adventures with her husband.
The winning ticket was purchased at UPI Energy FS on Goderich Street in Seaforth, adding another chapter to the town’s lottery success stories.
