The Grand Bend Legion Hall was abuzz with excitement on Friday evening as art enthusiasts and community members gathered for the grand opening of Paint Ontario’s 27th exhibition.
Kelli Phillips, board member of the Grand Bend Arts Center, shared her insights on the event’s success and the transformation of the space.
The effort put into transforming the Legion Hall into an art gallery was evident, with Phillips noting the substantial change in the space.
Among the highlights of the evening was the artists’ reaction to seeing their work prominently displayed. Phillips shared that artists were thrilled to showcase their pieces on the new panels and backdrop.
If you ask Phillips, Paint Ontario intends to keep the momentum, continuing the show well into the future.
The show is on until May 20th, so if you missed the opening weekend, there’s still lots of time to check it out.
