The Municipality of Lambton Shores is raising the Pride Flag for the entire month of June.
On Monday (June 3) municipal staff and council members gathered with representatives from the North Lambton Community Health Centre (NLCHC) and Diversity Ed for a special Pride Flag raising ceremony at the Municipal Administration Building.
In addition to the Municipal Administration Building, the Pride Flag will also be flown at the Legacy Recreation Centre in Thedford and the Shores Recreation Centre in Forest throughout Pride Month.
This initiative follows the 2021 unveiling of a permanent rainbow crosswalk in Grand Bend. The crosswalk serves as a daily reminder of the commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all residents and visitors.
