Hockey is more than just a game for Canadians; it’s a national passion. The Lambton Heritage Museum is celebrating this with a unique travelling exhibition from the Canadian Museum of History.
Curator and Supervisor, Dana Thorne says she is excited to see the exhibit come to life.
Until November 9th, “Hockey” will explore how the sport has shaped our lives and identity, featuring moments like Paul Henderson’s 1972 Summit Series goal.
The exhibit includes tabletop hockey games, “The Hockey Sweater,” and Shania Twain’s NHL-inspired outfits. Visitors can enjoy photos, artifacts, and audio archives. The Lambton Heritage Museum will also showcase local hockey history.
Admission is free for Lambton County residents in 2024. Visit heritagemuseum.ca for more details.
