- Tai Chi – Wingham @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am Join us at the Alice Munro Branch for a Tai Chi session, all skill levels welcome! This program is run by community volunteers and is a drop-in program, so no registration is necessary.
- Mahjong – Bayfield @ 12:45 pm – 3:00 pm Do you want to learn Mahjong or are you an experienced player? Drop in the first and third Wednesday of each month for a fun social afternoon at the Bayfield Branch. Please note this program is run by community volunteers.

- Aging by the Book – Goderich @ 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Aging by the Book is a 6-week reading circle that uses chosen selections by various writers to spark conversation about aging. This program also aims to create a meaningful opportunity for older adults to connect with each other while sharing insights and exploring issues that often arise in the later years of life. - English Conversation Circle – Exeter @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Join us at Exeter Branch for our English Conversation Circles. Conversation Circles are a great opportunity to practice English speaking skills and make new connections, while talking, listening, learning, and laughing about life in Canada. This program is provided in partnership with Huron County Immigration Partnership. This is a drop-in program – no registration is necessary.

Watch for our EarlyON sign closest to the door that you’ll enter. If the door is locked, ring the doorbell to the upper right of the door. For Parents/Caregivers with children 0-6 years. Register to join us to connect with other families and EarlyON Facilitators, engage in play-based activities, sing interactive songs and chat about topics of interest to parents. - Webinar – Immigrant Health Care: Understanding & Addressing Barriers @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm When moving to rural areas, immigrants face many challenges navigating and accessing health care systems. Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health’s upcoming episode 3 of Season 5 of the virtual lecture series in partnership with the Huron County Immigration Partnership features co-presenters, Dr. Saleema Allan, assistant professor at the University of Western Ontario and Dr. Jennifer Dean, associate professor at the University of Waterloo and Registered Professional Planner. They will be exploring the topic of “Immigrant Health Care: Understanding & Addressing Barriers”.
- Knitting Group – Bayfield Branch @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Knit, relax and meet fellow knitters each week at the Bayfield Branch. All are welcome to drop into this free program to knit together and share tips and tricks. Please note this program is community-led.

- Virtual Reality Free Play – Blyth @ 3:45 pm – 4:45 pm Discover the Huron County Library’s exciting new Virtual Reality headset by booking a session at the Blyth Branch! Participants can dive into the action with games like Beat Saber, explore the globe through immersive travel experiences, enjoy a relaxing round of mini golf, meditate in serene virtual environments, and so much more! - Drop-in Grief Support – Clinton @ 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm We all experience grief – whether it’s the loss of a loved one or pet, a relationship or home, or even a life that hasn’t turned out how you wanted. Join the TSF on October 17, from 4-6 pm for drop-in grief support with Huron Hospice. Ask questions, learn coping skills, find out what to do when you’re triggered, and more, in a safe and compassionate environment.
- Multilingual Movie Nights @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm Multilingual Movie Nights celebrate the many languages spoken in Huron County with a film and free refreshments! All films to be screened in their original language(s) with English subtitles. Multilingual Movie Nights are the third Thursday of each month in the museum theatre this fall & winter. Movies are screened with a light snack and a hot or cold drink. Please pre-register on Eventbrite to RSVP, & help us know quantities of snacks needed! No purchase is required to pre-register via Eventbrite. Upon arrival, movie nights are included with paying regular admission to the museum, free for museum members, or free/by-donation with your Huron County Library card. Pre-registration ends one hour before the event. Walk-ins are still welcome as capacity allows. Pre-registration guarantees your spot with the theatre capacity and helps us to provide adequate refreshments. Snacks served at 6:45. Movie to begin promptly at 7:00 pm. Refreshments available while they last! Please note that films may not be appropriate for all audiences. A rating has been provided when possible. Unrated films should be assumed to be for an adult audience.
