A 25-year-old student pilot made an emergency landing in a farm field near Tipperary Line in Central Huron on Thursday, (Oct 10), after experiencing engine problems mid-flight.
Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the Central Huron Fire Department responded to reports of a potential plane crash just after 5:00 p.m.
The aircraft was found intact, with no damage, and the pilot was unharmed. Authorities reported that the pilot had taken off from London, intending to land in Goderich before returning to London.
The plane is currently being inspected to ensure it is safe for its return flight to London.
