Residents of Goderich are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and donate blood at an upcoming blood donation event on November 28, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Goderich.
Maureen Macfarlane, Community Development Manager at Canadian Blood Services, hopes to see all available appointments filled, and mentioned that as a blood donor, you play a crucial role in helping many Canadians stay healthy.
Every donation can assist in emergency situations, surgeries, cancer treatments, and more. It’s a vital part of healthcare that ensures hospitals have the blood they need for those who rely on it.
Macfarlane says donating is a very simple process.
By giving blood, you become part of a life-saving community effort. Your donation could make all the difference for someone in need.
If you’d like to donate, you can easily book an appointment at blood.ca, through the GiveBlood App, or by calling 1-888-236-6283.
Take the opportunity to help others and make a lasting impact—donate blood and give the gift of life!
