
Huron County OPP has charged a 59-year-old Bluewater resident with impaired driving following a traffic complaint on December 2nd in South Huron.
At around 2:20 p.m., police received a report about a driver suspected of being impaired. Officers located the vehicle on Huron Street West and conducted a traffic stop. After speaking with the driver, they determined the individual was impaired.
The driver was arrested and taken to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton, where breath tests showed alcohol levels over the legal limit.
A resident of Bluewater, faces charges for impaired driving due to alcohol and drugs, as well as impaired driving with alcohol levels over the legal limit. The vehicle involved was impounded for seven days, and the driver’s license was suspended for 90 days.
