The Mount Carmel Christmas Parade is back this Friday, December 20th, at 6 p.m., promising a magical evening of festive fun for the whole family.
Ian Jean, a member of the Mount Carmel Christmas Parade Committee, told myFM all the details.
What makes this parade special? It only happens once every three years, creating a unique and cherished tradition for the tight-knit Mount Carmel community.
The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. along Mount Carmel Drive, starting half a mile west of town and running half a mile east. Residents and visitors are encouraged to arrive early, grab their spots, and enjoy the festivities. The event will feature unique floats, candy for the kids, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus—one of their final appearances before Christmas Day.
For anyone hoping to enter a float in the parade, the committee asks you to contact them by googling “Mount Carmel Christmas Parade”.
With no specific theme other than the magic of Christmas itself, the event promises a joyful and traditional celebration to close out the season.
