Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookies brought a new way to spread kindness during the holiday season. United Way Perth-Huron (UWPH) has received a donation of $7,764 for their Urgent Needs Fund from this initiative.
The Tim Hortons locations in Blyth, Clinton, and Seaforth raised $15,528 in total. The amount was split equally between UWPH’s Urgent Needs Fund and the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps. Volunteers and staff worked together to decorate cookies, and community members showed their support by purchasing them.
The Urgent Needs Fund is available 24/7 in over 150 languages through the 211 helpline. It provides financial help for essential needs such as rent, winter clothing, car repairs, groceries, and more. Last year, 314 people in Huron County accessed this fund.
The donation highlights the community’s generosity and helps support vulnerable individuals in Huron County for a brighter future.
