South Huron Hospital Foundation Reflects on 2024 and Looks Ahead to Exciting Projects in 2025
As 2024 comes to an end, Krista McCann, Executive Director of the South Huron Hospital Foundation, reflects on a year of remarkable achievements for both the foundation and the hospital.
The foundation saw incredible support from its donors throughout the year, with contributions helping to sustain essential healthcare services. Meanwhile, the hospital achieved an extraordinary milestone—keeping its emergency department open without any closures due to staffing shortages.
Looking ahead to 2025, the foundation is gearing up for a major undertaking: the launch of a campaign for a new community-funded Medical Centre.
As the new year approaches, McCann expressed her gratitude to the residents of South Huron for their unwavering generosity and support. She emphasized how the community’s dedication to the foundation’s efforts ensures that the hospital remains a pillar of care for everyone in the area.
With a successful 2024 behind them and exciting plans ahead, the South Huron Hospital Foundation is ready to continue making a positive impact in 2025 and beyond.
