The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) has made a third-quarter payment of $179,855 to the Municipality of Central Huron for hosting Gateway Casinos Clinton. This payment covers the period from October 1st to December 31st.
So far this fiscal year (April 1, 2024 to March 31, 2025), Central Huron has received $533,672. Since the casino opened in August 2000, the total amount received by Central Huron is $14,198,585.
OLG is committed to sharing casino gaming proceeds with local communities, supporting economic development, infrastructure, and job creation. OLG reinvests 100% of its profits back into Ontario.
Over the past eight years, service providers have invested more than $2.5 billion in private sector capital projects across Ontario. These investments have led to the opening of seven new casinos, a large resort, expanded gaming areas, and new amenities.
