On February 6th, Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged a 58-year-old man following incidents at two different locations in Goderich.
The first incident took place at Goderich Hospital, where staff contacted the OPP to report a disturbance and mischief caused by an individual. Police arrived at the scene, arrested the man, and charged him with mischief under $5,000, causing a disturbance, and committing an indecent act in a public place. The individual, a 58-year-old man with no fixed address, was also charged under the Liquor Licence Control Act (LLCA). He was held in custody for a bail hearing before being released.
Later that evening, just before 7:00 p.m., police received another call from a retail store on Huron Road in Goderich, reporting another act of mischief. The individual responsible was identified once again. Police located and arrested him near the store, adding another charge of mischief under $5,000.
