Lambton Public Health is looking for information about a dog and its owner after a dog bite happened on Saturday, February 15th, between 8:30 and 9:00 p.m. on East Parkway Drive in the Ipperwash Beach area of Lambton Shores.
The dog is described as large, with dark brown and black fur, and looks like a mix between a mastiff and a lab. It was seen without an owner at the time of the incident.
Anyone who has information about the dog or its owner is asked to contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 or toll-free at 1-800-667-1839. If the dog is not found and its health cannot be checked, the person who was bitten will need rabies shots as a precaution.
