Police have laid charges following a domestic assault investigation in North Middlesex.
On February 27th, at 4:13 a.m., officers from the Middlesex County and Lambton County OPP responded to a report of an assault in Lambton County. After investigating, police determined the incident had taken place at a home in North Middlesex.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. A 35-year-old from Middlesex County has been charged with assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and failing to comply with a release order. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.
