Lisa Bishop-Spencer, Executive Director of the Canadian Centre of Food Integrity says tariffs have prompted industry wide action in the agriculture sector.
Bishop-Spencer also says that Canadians are deeply concerned about the situation, and what it means for truly Canadian products.
She says that commitment has grown, especiallly over the past month and has helped spur the industry in the right direction.
Most grocery stores have responded too, labelling Canadian products as such to help shoppers identify Canadian products.
