It’s Time to Lace Up and Start Something Big! Get out of the cold and on to the lanes because Bowl for Kids Sake is here! It's that time of year when our community comes together in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron at the annual Bowl for Kids Sake event held at the Town & Country Bowling Lanes in Zurich on Friday March 21st from 5pm to 9pm, Saturday March 22nd from 5pm to 9pm and Sunday March 23rd from 1pm to 5pm. Friends, family, co-workers, local businesses and local service clubs are being asked to put in a team and join the many supporters who make this annual event such a BIG success. Raise some pledges and come on out to enjoy 2 free hours of bowling. There is no minimum amount required to be raised, as long as you raise something, you are helping a great cause! Prizes awarded throughout the event for various minigames and activities and door prizes will be awarded at each event. Incentive prizes donated by Canadian Tire Exeter are awarded for every $150 or more raised by an individual bowler. The more you raise, the more you receive in Canadian Tire Gift Cards. Last year, Bowl for Kids Sake raised over $12,500 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron!

Turkey Dinner (Take Out) Fundraiser
South Huron Community Choirs are having a Turkey Dinner (Take Out) Fundraiser on Sunday, April 6, 2025. The meal includes turkey, stuffing, potatoes, all the trimmings and homemade pie for dessert. Tickets are $27 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under, and kids 5 and under are FREE. Tickets are sold by choir members and are also available at Hansen's Independent (Courtesy Desk), Exeter Animal Hospital, Pine Dale Motor Inn and The Garden Gate Gifts and Florals in Grand Bend. Dinner Pick Up will be at South Huron Rec Centre between 4:30 and 6:00 pm. Ticket sales will begin on Wednesday, March 12 and end on Friday, April 4.
