To help, United Way Perth Huron (UWPH) is working with social service and economic development partners to develop a strategy addressing food insecurity, mental health, and financial support for workers. Executive Director Ryan Erb says everyone is facing challenges right now.

Audio PlayerFor those looking to help now, UWPH’s current campaign is an immediate opportunity. With just three weeks left, the campaign has reached about 80% of its $2.6 million goal. All donations will go toward supporting people already facing hardships, as well as those who may need help in the future.

United Way is urging the community to step up and give, as corporate donations have slowed due to economic uncertainty. Erb emphasized that UWPH is the largest non-government funder of social programs in the area, making local support more important than ever.
