The Municipality of Lambton Shores has partnered with FlashVote, a new online survey tool, to make it easier for residents to share their opinions on local issues. This tool allows people to quickly and anonymously participate in surveys that help the Municipality understand the community’s needs better.
Residents can sign up for FlashVote in less than a minute to receive email alerts about new surveys. Each survey is open for 48 hours, giving everyone a chance to participate. All feedback is kept anonymous, and no personal or demographic information is shared with the Municipality or outside parties.
After each survey, participants receive a summary of the overall results, helping them see how their opinions compare with others in the community. This approach aims to build trust and encourage more people to get involved.
Mayor Doug Cook expressed excitement about the new tool, saying it makes community engagement simpler and ensures that every voice in Lambton Shores can be heard. The surveys will be used along with the Municipality’s current ways of gathering feedback, like public meetings and online information sharing.
Residents are encouraged to sign up early to take part in upcoming surveys. To join, visit flashvote.com/lambtonshores.
