Federal Election Shake-Up: Most Canadians to Vote in New Ridings

Most Canadians will be voting in new ridings in the coming federal election.

Of the 338 old ridings, only 48 remain the same, five new ridings were added and one, in Toronto, was eliminated.

Spokesperson for Elections Canada, Diane Benson says there have been a lot of changes.

She explains why we see changes.

Our riding of Huron-Bruce has not changed, however Lambton-Kent-Middlesex is now Middlesex-London.
