Debra McNair of Dashwood is celebrating a huge win after scoring the top prize of $250,000 with INSTANT CROSSWORD DELUXE.
Debra, who is retired, has been playing INSTANT CROSSWORD for years. She’s a mother of three and a grandmother of three, and says she enjoys how the game takes time and keeps her engaged. Back in 2003, she won $10,000 with INSTANT BINGO—but nothing compares to this big win.
She’s told a few close friends, but wanted to wait until the cheque was in her hands before sharing the news widely.
Debra says the prize money will help her pay bills and save for the future. She’s also planning to buy a new computer.
“I was at home when I scratched the ticket,” Debra said during her visit to the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto. “When I realized I’d won, I screamed ‘OMG!’ and rushed to the store to make sure it was real.”
Debra bought her winning ticket at the Circle K on Ontario Street North in Grand Bend.
