“Ladies, Laugh, Love” Event Brings Community Together for a Great Cause

A special night of laughter, friendship, and giving back is coming to town. The “Ladies, Laugh, Love” event will take place on Friday, April 11th, at 7 p.m. at the Exeter CRC and promises a fun-filled evening while raising money for Jessica’s House Hospice.

The idea for the event came from Sylvia Heyink, who wanted to honor her late sister, Ann, who passed away from cancer ten years ago. Ann loved girls’ nights out, and this event is a way to celebrate her memory while bringing the community together.

The evening will feature comedian Colleen Landry, ensuring plenty of laughs. Guests can also enjoy delicious food, including charcuterie boards and non-alcoholic sangria. A silent auction will take place to help raise additional funds for Jessica’s House.

The event has received generous support from local businesses and volunteers, including PTMG, which is helping with costs, and Peony and Pine’s Sarah Mulder, who will decorate the venue. Catering is provided by Nicole Willert, with help from local culinary students. With a 200-person limit, organizers hope to fill the venue with women ready to share laughter and support a good cause.
