The Bayfield Lions Club is getting ready to welcome the community back to one of the area’s most popular events — the Bayfield Home Show.
Bayfield Lions Club President Ian Matthew says the event draws between 2,200 and 2,500 visitors each year and continues to grow.
Visitors will find everything from home appliances and patio furniture to landscaping services, real estate, travel info, pest control, and more. Kids can enjoy free face painting, and there will be a large outdoor display featuring RVs, 4x4s, and motorcycles.
The Bayfield Home Show has been running for 28 years and remains an important part of the community.
The Bayfield Lions Club, which has been active for 78 years, organizes the event with help from 35 members and 20 community volunteers. Over the last 10 years, the club has raised more than $500,000 to support projects in the Bayfield area.
Admission to the show is free, but visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food bank.
The two-day event runs Saturday, April 26th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 27th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bayfield Community Centre.
