
The father of 20 year-old Nathaniel Veltman, the 20-year-old who committed the attack on the London family Sunday, is saying that the incident was an “unspeakable crime.”
Mark Veltman, the father of the accused said that “there are no words adequate to properly express my deep sorrow for the victims of this senseless act.”
Nathaniel Veltman is facing four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder after driving a car onto the sidewalk, hitting a family of 5, killing 4 members of the family and leaving one young boy in hospital.
The accused appeared in court on Thursday for a bail hearing. He currently does not have a lawyer, and is applying for legal aid. The case will be back in court on Monday June 14th. There is a publication ban in effect on the case.
