On Sunday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau met with Governor General Mary Simon who agreed to dissolve Parliament, triggering an election campaign.
The campaign will only last 36 days as voters will head to the polls on September 20th.
As of right now there are only 4 candidates running in Huron-Bruce.
Incumbent Ben Lobb for the Conservative Party, James Rice for the Liberal Party, Jack Stecho for the Peoples Party of Canada and Justin L Smith is running as an independent.
