The United Way Perth Huron is back again this year with their Coldest Night of the Year walk in February!
All the money raised goes right back into the community, and this year they are putting it towards the South Huron Connection Centre in Exeter as well as the Huron Homelessness Initiative.
Lori Shatto, United Way Perth-Huron Manager Community Development for South Huron and Area said that their goal this year is to raise $64,750 which she believes they will be able to do since last year they greatly surpassed their goal. This year as well, to match with COVID, it is a hybrid event.
Registration is open now, so you can sign up alone or as a team, and help raise money for those in the community who need it.
