The Huron County Library has won a prestigious award.
The library won the Ontario Library Association’s Archival and Preservation Achievement Award for the Huron County Digitized Newspaper project.
Starting in 2014, the library, the Huron County Museum, the County, and the local community came together to collect over 350 thousand local pieces as part of the project.
The online collection features articles from as early as 1848.
The full collection can be accessed from both the Huron County Library and the Huron County Museum websites or by directly visiting https://pubdocs.huroncounty.ca/WebLink/.
