Thousands of members of the Carpenter’s District Council of Ontario, United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America are putting down their hammers.
Union members voted 75 per cent to reject the latest offer during contract talks.

Yorke says the union, which hasn’t been on strike in 34 years, wants to see wages increased and will fight for what’s fair for members.
