There wasn’t much about a plan to deal with healthcare staffing in this week’s Throne Speech at Queen’s Park.
Here’s what Dr. Alan Drummond, the Co-chair of the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians, had to say about that.
The Doctor says even though the Ford government hasn’t been sitting, they’ve had time to consult with stakeholders and come up with a plan.
He adds that his organization has had suggestions to improve staffing in Ontario’s hospitals for 20 years. He suggests the province go back, review their suggestions and implement them.
