Enbridge Gas is fueling a different fire for the Huron East Fire Department.
The gas company has purchased firefighting training materials, through Safe Community Project Assist, a program with the Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council that supplements existing training for Ontario volunteer and composite fire departments in the communities where Enbridge Gas operates.
Enbridge’s $250,000 donation will be shared by 50 Ontario Fire Departments.
This years funds in Huron East will be for life saving technique training.
