The Lake Huron Coastal Centre will be hosting it’s biennial conference on Friday, May 5th at the Oakwood Resort in Grand Bend.
The conference will bring together environmental professionals, policy makers, representatives from indigenous communities, and members of the public to discuss plans for Lake Huron’s long term sustainability.
This years conference focuses on the shared values that Ontario and Michigan have in preserving the longevity of the coast in the face of climate change.
Proceeds of the conference will support preservation and education initiatives.
