For over 20 years, the weekend has been an attraction for many, starting at 12:30 on Saturday with live entertainment, face painting and more. New this year, they have an ASL interpreter preset for the musical acts to make sure that everyone can enjoy the show.
The highlight of the day is always the fireworks display, says Brooks

The fireworks used by the celebrations are also environmentally friendly,
If you enjoy the festivities, make sure that you donate to support next years! Brooks says that every year they spend around $60,000 to make the day one for the books,
You can donate in advance of the event at Sobeys, Mike and Terri’s No Frills, or Impressions, or the day of the event by cash, or tip-tap.
The event has also received generous sponsorship from 25 businesses and organizations in the community, like Coleson Freight, Skyshot Management, Mike and Terris Nofrills, and Sobeys.
