Calling all aspiring artists!
Lambton County Library is hosting a book cover design contest – young people aged 5-12 can submit their design for a book of their choosing, by bringing their drawing in person to any Lambton County Library branch.
Winners from each age category will receive a $50 art kit, and have their designs displayed alongside the works of members of the Canadian Society of Children’s Authors, Illustrators and Performers (or CANSCAIP) at Gallery in the Grove. Two additional runners up will also receive book prizes.
Your drawing can be submitted anytime from July 3rd to September 2nd – winners will be announced on September 9th.
“The Book Cover Design Contest is a great way for kids to use their imaginations and artistic skills to create a book cover that captures attention and curiosity,” said Vanitia Campbell, Public Services Coordinator – Youth Programs and Outreach.
