Cats like Arthur are looking for a home - and you might just be the perfect fit!
The Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth has been a beacon of hope for animals and pet owners in the region for decades.
One of the primary services that the Humane Society is known for is pet adoption. They offer more than 40 services, but adoption remains at the heart of their mission.
Calla James is Director of Community Engagement and Outreach, she says that they work hard to find a good fit for pets and owners alike.

Maisy is a 9 year old dog looking for a great family to spend the rest of her days with.
Last year alone, the Humane Society found loving homes for 1,435 pets.
Additionally, they collaborate with foster-based rescue organizations to ensure that animals find the best possible environments for their needs.
James says that the impact of their work is far reaching,
The Humane Society operates without government funding and relies heavily on community support and donations. They offer numerous other services, such as animal control for various municipalities, low-cost veterinary care, microchipping services, and spay/neuter clinics.
The need for homes for the variety of pets that they care for is great at the moment, says James,
