The deadline for a $2,500 Digital Transformation Grant (DTG) for small businesses is coming up.
This Digital Main Street (DMS) program aims to assist brick-and-mortar stores in embracing technology to bring their business into the 21st century.
The application window closes on September 30 – eligible businesses can start the application process by creating or logging into their account and completing the digital assessment and online training.
Businesses that had previously received a grant before June 21, 2022, are eligible for an additional $2,500 grant.
Vicki Lass, Director of Economic Development, remarked, “Since the inception of the Digital Main Street Grant program in 2019, over $617,500 in grants have been disbursed to local small businesses in Huron County. These programs have effectively aided local businesses in expanding their digital services, widening their customer base, and solidifying their online presence.”
Local businesses in Huron County can access personalized assistance through the Digital Service Squad (DSS) Grant program, which offers free digital transformation coaching until mid-March 2024. Services include digital literacy assessments, access to online training, website review and creation, social media support, technology guidance, analytics assessment, and more.
