As the fall season approaches and the weather takes a cooler turn, it’s time to bid farewell to some of our favorite water activities. The Exeter Pool is set to close its gates this weekend, with Friday marking the last day of its season.
The wading pool in Victoria Park has already shut it’s gates, as of Friday (August 25).
But the fun isn’t over just yet – for those who still want to squeeze in a few more water adventures, the Splashpads are here to save the day. Exeter Splashpad has a few weeks left, weather being the biggest factor for it’s closure, and the Hensall and Bayfield Splashpads will also remain open for a bit longer. You’ve got until the beginning of October before they also take a seasonal break.
With kids heading back to school next week, this marks the end of the lazy summer days.
So, if you’re looking to squeeze in a few more water-filled moments, head on over to the Splashpads before they close up shop for the season. And don’t worry, they’ll be back to greet us next summer.
