17 years ago, people got the land by the river, just a 7-minute walk from downtown, to make the area better.
Now, a new bridge was built. While making it, they wanted folks to walk below it instead of crossing the busy highway 21.
Lewington says the idea for the trail came together pretty easily.
The bridge got done a year ago. They couldn’t start making the trail until the bridge was finished.
Lewington, says the new trail is a good idea for a simple reason.
They also want to make sure everyone can use it easily.
