This Winterfest, running from tomorrow (Friday, Feb. 2nd) to Sunday, kicks off with a creative twist.
The Library in Goderich invites kids for a day of activities, offering a brief respite for parents on the PA day. As the sun sets, the enchantment of a candlelit walk through Maitland Woods awaits, courtesy of the Maitland Trail Association.
Saturday transforms Courthouse Square into a winter wonderland. The BIA hosts an outdoor winter market, accompanied by the Square Brew Winterfest Bar serving up delightful beverages. From inflatables for the kiddos to curling and a petting zoo by Little Hobby Farm, sponsored by Royal Lepage Heartland Realty, the day promises diverse fun. Don’t miss the world-famous Rotary Chili Cookoff at the Legion, offering a chance to vote for the best chili with a $5.00 donation.
And on Sunday, the petting zoo and inflatables will still be in the Square if you’re looking for a last dose of fun.
Weather can be unpredictable, but Winterfest is ready.
Winterfest aims to provide an affordable opportunity for families to come together and enjoy the season.
Moreover, local restaurants are joining in, offering special deals that can be explored on the event’s website and social media.
