- Exeter Elementary School Trivia Night with the Cultural Collective: Join the fun on Friday, April 19th, at the Exeter Legion from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM for another iconic trivia night hosted by Exeter Elementary School and the Cultural Collective. Teams of up to eight people can participate, with $25 per person admission and cash prizes for the top three teams.
- E-Waste initiative with AMDSB: local schools are hosting free electronics recycling bins for the community! Drop off is open Friday from 9:00am – 3:00pm, swing by any AMDSB high school (including South Huron District High School in Exeter) to recycle broken or un-used electronics. Read more here.
- Early Bird Adult Swim: Start your day with a refreshing swim at 26 Toronto Blvd Municipality of Huron East from 7:30 am to 8:30 am. The open pool is perfect for independent water exercise or lap swimming, welcoming all levels of abilities. If that’s not your thing, hang around for Shallow or Deep Aqua Aerobics classes from 8:30 am to 9:15 am. Drop-in classes welcome everyone, with no need to sign up.
- Storytime – Zurich: Bring your little ones to the Zurich Library Branch from 9:30 am to 10:00 am for stories, activities, and crafts during Storytime.
- Mighty Meals Program: Participate in the Mighty Meals Program at the Crediton Community Centre from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. This parent and child program offers meal kits and food prep tips, followed by Early On playtime.
- Play & Learn – Brussels Branch: Join Huron EarlyON at the Brussels Branch from 10:00 am to 11:30 am for free programs tailored for parents/caregivers and children from birth to six years old.
- A “Labour of Love” Quilt Show-2024: Celebrate 25 Years of the Electric Quilter at the “A Labour of Love” Quilt Show hosted by Exeter United Church from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. View award-winning quilts from Diane Carson and immerse yourself in the artistry of quilting.
- Tech Time – Seaforth: Get your technology questions answered by booking a 30-minute session at the Seaforth Branch from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Gain expert assistance with library e-resources, devices, and more.

- The Little Craft Show – Exeter: Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Huron at the 3rd Annual Little Craft Show on Saturday, April 20th, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the South Huron Recreation Centre.
- Family Puzzles and Games – Zurich: Enjoy family time at the Zurich Library Branch from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday mornings. Drop in for games, puzzles, and activities.
- Adult Painting Workshop – Blyth: Unleash your creativity at the Blyth Library Branch with a guided painting lesson in acrylic paints from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. This workshop is open to adults aged 18 and above.
- Seedy Saturday – Exeter: Kick off Earth Week at the Exeter Library Branch from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for the 3rd annual Seedy Saturday. Join in for a celebration of seeds, gardening, and sustainable living.

- Goderich – Saturday Night Meat Draw: Join the Goderich Legion for their Famous Saturday Night Meat Draw from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Enjoy entertainment by Country Junction while participating in the draw.
- Bayfield Lions Home and Lifestyle Show: at the Bayfield arena, all day Saturday and Sunday – check out the latest and greatest in home, garden, recreation and more. Admission is free, but donations to the food bank are appreciated.
