A North Middlesex resident was charged with impaired driving during an OPP RIDE Program.
On May 14th, Middlesex County OPP were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Queen Street in North Middlesex.
During the program, a vehicle entered and was stopped by police.
Upon investigation, it was found that the driver had consumed alcohol. They were tested using an Approved Screening Device (ASD), arrested, and taken to the Middlesex OPP detachment for further tests.
A 58-year-old from North Middlesex, has been charged.
The Middlesex OPP reminds the public to report suspicious behavior or suspected impaired driving to the Ontario Provincial Police or local authorities immediately.=
