The retrial of 79 year old, Boris Panovski, charged with the 2014 murder of 70 year old Donato Frigo, and attempted murder of Frigo’s wife, continued yesterday (The 13th).
On September 13th, 2014, at the Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area, Matt Haggis heard gunshots while exercising dogs. Shortly after, he saw Eva Willer Frigo riding a horse frantically, bleeding and terrified.
Witnesses testified about Panovski’s grudge against Frigo, rooted in a loss of reputation in the field dog community.
Panovski, who denies the charges, opted for a judge-alone trial. Justice Marc Garson has been hearing evidence since May 23rd.
