Human trafficking is a grave injustice that affects millions of people worldwide, with an estimated one in three victims being a child. This crisis is happening both globally and locally, and our community can play a vital role in combating it. Together, we can prevent human trafficking and support survivors of exploitation.
Site Pastor of Vitalpoint Church, David Baker explains the event.
On July 20th, Team Vitality will be participating in Move for Freedom to raise $10,000 for Ally Global Foundation—a Canadian charity dedicated to preventing human trafficking and helping survivors find healing. To raise these funds, each of our sites will be taking action to move against human trafficking.
The Move for Freedom event will be held at the park in Exeter, where participants will engage in various activities to support this crucial cause. Community members are encouraged to join the cause by visiting vitalpointchurch.com/freedom to join the team and donate.
Human trafficking is a pervasive issue, but through collective action and support, we can make strides towards ending this atrocity and providing much-needed assistance to survivors. Join on July 20th and be part of the change.
