The Municipality of Lambton Shores is aware of a car rally that is being planned in the Grand Bend area on September 27th and 28th, without official approval. To ensure the safety of residents and visitors, municipal officials are working closely with Lambton OPP.
In response to this event, there will be more police in the area during the rally. The Lambton OPP will be watching the situation closely and will take action if any unsafe or illegal activities occur.
The Municipality is also ready to make temporary road closures, detours, and other measures to keep traffic flowing and ensure public safety. These steps aim to reduce unsanctioned activities and minimize disruptions for local businesses and residents.
The Municipality asks everyone to follow traffic laws and local rules, including noise and parking regulations. Violations will be enforced to keep the community safe and maintain a good quality of life.
Updates will be provided to the public on the Municipal website and social media as needed.
