Get ready for fun, festivities and fall.
The annual Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival will take place at the Lambton Heritage Museum. On October 19th and 20th, the museum will turn into a juried artisan market, the event will showcase over 70 vendors offering handmade products such as art, jewelry, textiles, and woodworking. Family-friendly activities, including an acorn-themed craft, and historical demonstrations of quilting and timber-framing will also be on display.
Jessica Stevenson, the museum’s Marketing and Events Coordinator, lays the scene for us.
This year’s festival proceeds will support the Canatara Cabin reconstruction project. Stevenson tells us about the initiative.
Jessica Stevenson, Marketing and Events Coordinator, said the event offers “a wonderful way to celebrate the season” – but it’s also worth showing up to for a trip around the museum.
Admission is $5, with children under 12 free when accompanied by an adult. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
