Ontario is recognizing Veterans with free access to Provincial Parks across the province as we mark Remembrance Week this week.
Acting Environment, Conservation and Parks Minister Todd McCarthy says Ontario is proud to offer veterans and active service members free WEEKDAY day-use access to provincial parks throughout the entire year.
All members have to do is present their valid Canadian Armed Forces ID card and proof of Ontario residence at the park’s entrance.
Free weekday entry also extends to loved ones accompanying a service member or veteran in the same vehicle.
