An investigation by the Huron-Perth OPP Community Street Crimes Unit, Wellington County CSCU, and Huron County OPP led to the seizure of stolen property and charges against a Huron East resident.
The investigation started in Central Huron after a break-and-enter and theft were reported. Investigators tracked the suspect to Huron East.
On Tuesday, November 5th, a search warrant was carried out in Seaforth, where stolen property was found. The suspect, a 40 year old from Huron East, was arrested and charged with several offences, including break-and-enter with intent to commit a crime, possession of stolen property over $5,000, theft of a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle while prohibited, theft, theft with intent to steal, and two counts of mischief for damaging or destroying property.
